Recently I keep getting asked about grounding, this blog should hopefully make it clearer what grounding is and how you can incorporate it into your life.
In this modern world it is so easy to be swept up and constantly focused on trying to get through the day. Life is just work and there is no time to care for your spiritual needs and connecting with the real world, this is why grounding is incredibly important.
What is Grounding?
Grounding is connecting back to the Earth, taking a moment and almost like a reset. It is putting your negative energy back into the Earth, you do not need it and it’s time to let it go. Like I have said in previous blogs, energy is not good or bad, it is simply just energy and we should only keep hold of the energy that is serving us and the life we want right now. Grounding clears your mind and allows you to see your life clearly and allows you to be more present.
Taking a moment in nature
- Choose a grounding crystal
- Stand with your bare feet on the floor
- Have your hands on your hips
- Hold your chosen grounding crystal in your hand
- Close your eyes
- Visualise the negative energy flowing down towards your feet and into the Earth
- Hold for 5 minutes or until you feel less heavy

Ground when everything feels a bit much, when you are feeling stressed or like everything is out of your control.
